The Aliens Tribute

THIS SITE IS NO LONGER UPDATED!
I've joined the army, and I don't have the time to update this site any longer, I'm sorry. I might
continue updating it sometime in the future, but don't expect any sooner than December 1998.
That also means that I won't answer any of your mails any longer. And I DO know that some of the
files are down...
I've received a new award, go to the This Site to check it out...
Stop being a "taker" and start being a "giver". Contribute to the Aliens fandom...
BTW, seems that some guy from Germany has taken the liberty to pull the www.windows95.com
trick on fox, only he registered www.alien5.com (there's nothing there yet). Here's what we could dig up on him :

The Aliens Tribute - Always bringing you indepth no-need-to-know information :)
A4 Soundtrack Review - I've just purchased the Alien Resurrection Soundtrack, and after listening a bit
to it, I realized that I just HAD to review it for all of you unfortunate souls out there who haven't gotten it yet.
You can find our more in the Merchandice section under Soundtracks.
Fangoria A4 Article - I got my hands on issue 169 of Fangoria, in which there is a longer article about
A4. I've used some time to write it into the computer so that you can read it here at my site. It's on the Articles page
in the A4 section.
H.R. Giger's official letter to Fox - H.R. Giger doesn't seem to pleased with the fact that FOX used his
original Alien design without crediting him, in fact he wrote an open letter to Fox detailing the matter. Find out more
here or in the Alien Resurrection section on the
Articles page.
Site Changes - I've rewritten the introduction page of the A4 section, since it was still talking
about how A4 might end up being... but we all know that now :) Added Aliens Online
to the links page.
New Quake2 TC - With the release of Quake 2 yesterday (although I got it before since I live in Denmark :) I suddenly
felt an incredible urge to be creative! I've made a couple of maps for Quake and with all the new stuff in Quake two, it seemed obvious
that I just HAD to do a Total Conversion for it. So, if you're a coder, graphician, modeller or level designer and you're a fan of the
Alien movies, go here and have a look at what I have in mind.
10 new A4 reviews - I recently dropped by Aliens: The Website's new homepage and took me the liberty
to rip some of his A4 reviews :) You can find them in the A4 section on the
Reviews page.
Added A4 pictures - I've had a lot of pictures floating around here for some time now, and I've finally
taken the time to put them all in a couple of zip files an post them in the Download
section on the Pictures page.
Aliens Online - Seems Fox is making another run for their money, and again trying to pump the Alien franchise
for some money. Aliens Online is their newest creation on the gaming market. I've seen the screenshots and basically made
an opinion from that, right or wrong, I don't know but you can read more here where you can also see the screenshots and
follow the link to the official homepage.
New Downloads - Apart from the A4 pictures above, I'm also working getting some movies onto the
Download pages. They're not up yet, but they will be sometime this week.
And then of course the newest update of "You know you're an Aliens fanatic when...". You can find that on the Miscellaneous Files
page.
Star Trek compared to Aliens - I was on IRC yesterday where Christine (AKA Cripley) gave me these few lines
of comparison from some magazine she had laying around. BTW, visit her homepage
that also hosts "You know you're an Aliens fanatic when..." which you can also aquire from my download section.
Making of A3 audio - I've posted a 8.8MB MP3 file of the "Making of A3" tape I've got here at home. The missing of
actual video isn't that bad since there's a lot of speech, including interviews with Giger, Sigourney Weaver and some other effects
people and stuff. It's in the Download section under Audio.
A4 Audio - I've also encoded some A4 stuff I got a couple of weeks back. It's the same place as the above file. It includes
some interviews with Sigourney Weaver and Winona Ryder and a couple of scenes from the movie.
A.C. Crispin Interview - I was lucky to stumble over an interview with the writer of the novilization of A4. I found it on
www.amazon.com. You can find the interview in the A4
section on the Interviews page.
I've added a new link on my
links page.
